The City of Tempe challenged Tempe Yarn to Yarn Bomb the Community Services Complex Courtyard.
"Yarn bombing" is an art form where public items (stop signs, light poles, hand rails, trees) are covered with yarn that is knitted and/or crocheted as a type of graffiti. With the talented knitters and crocheters in the valley this should be easy work and fun.
On Saturday, February 2, 2013, a commando team of about 20 successfully bombed the complex!
We want to thank everyone who came out and helped. It was a lot of fun!
