Description:
Whether you have never
held a pair of knitting needles in your hand before, you used to knit and are returning to it again, or you know how to knit and want
to learn to purl, our Learn to Knit class is right for you. In this class, you will learn the knitted cast on, the knit
stitch, the purl stitch, and a basic bind off. You will use these to knit practice pieces in garter stitch pattern and in stockinette
stitch pattern.
Best of all, Learn to Knit sessions will be offered several times a month, so you can take the one that
works best for your schedule and repeat the class if you need a refresher on these techniques.
Participants need to purchase the
following supplies at Tempe Yarn when they come to class:
1 skein
of Cascade 220 or Cascade 220 Superwash yarn
Addi Natura 24” circular
needles in US size 8 or 9
